RL6:Risk for Quality in Cardiac Arrest and Rapid Response Events - RL Connections Virtual

October 13, 2017 RL Team

Summary

In this presentation, UC San Diego Health will share how they leverage RL6:Risk to improve the Code Blue/Rapid Response process. The system has two main acute care locations, Hillcrest and La Jolla. UC San Diego Health applies a multidisciplinary approach to identify opportunities for improvement during codes. The presenters will share how data pulled from RL6 is used to track data on process issues with cardiac arrests/rapid response activation at both locations, and to ultimately identify and improve reoccurring process issues. This information has powered UC San Diego’s process improvement and kept them on target in meeting their goals.
