Implementing Root Cause Analysis and Action: Learnings from the journey

November 14, 2017 RL Team
In 2015, Oschner Health Systems made a commitment to change the way they conduct Root Cause Analyses. Jessica Behrhorst will share the organization's journey, successes, and challenges, through the implementation of the new Root Cause Analysis and Action model (RCA2). This new model for RCA addressed many of the barriers previously experienced, provided the tools to create a more sustainable model and has helped foster engagement with the RCA process! By the end of this webinar, attendees will learn about: - The implementation of the RCA2 process across an organization that includes hospitals with a wide range of bed sizes and ambulatory health centers. - The tools required for a successful implementation of RCA2 and engagement at all levels of the organization. - The barriers that may arise when creating a complex and sensitive process change such as RCA2 and how to overcome those barriers.
