RL6 helps us to get more people involved. Also, to see the outcomes of reporting, where people look more towards patient safety interests and not so much tattling on your coworkers. It really provides opportunities to start new conversations.

Prior to RL6, Park Nicollet Health Services primarily used email to track, report and follow-up on incidents. Now, with an electronic reporting system, they've made strides in changing the organization's culture to see reporting incidents as promoting learning and less as punitive. As well, Park Nicollet has used RL6's reporting capabilities to share the changes its making to improve quality and patient safety.
